Hi, my name is Paul and I work at Celtic Jewels, if you wish to contact me you can do so at . Below is a little information on who we are, why we setup and what we would like to achieve.
We are a family run business operating out of Dublins City Centre in the Irish Life Mall on Talbot Street. I work there alongside my wife Therese. When we set up this website we were aiming for a website with a personality as there are so many jewellery sites out there at the minute that we wanted to shed the faceless image and provide a quality service and a friendly face just as if you had walked in off the street to our shop. We also wanted to present products on our website that said" I'm Irish and I'm proud it". Traditionally the Irish are renowned for their friendly welcoming nature and it really is true. Irelands history is a turbulent one and many of these beautiful pieces of jewellery were inspired by some of the events which shaped todays Ireland.
Wearing a piece of quality Irish made jewellery that has been inspired by events of the past displays a passion for our country that has been instilled in all of us. I have many pieces of Irish jewellery that I wear (not all at once) and often find that a comment made on one of those pieces can initiate a conversation with people from all walks of life. Being Irish is much more than dropping a line into a conversation about the fact that you're Irish, it's a thousand conversations in itself.
Computer giant, Bill Gates had a dream in the early nineties, he was asked by an interviewer a question to the effect of, "What is your overall goal?" to which Bill replies, "I would eventually like to see a PC in every home in the world!" Consider what a mammoth thing that was to say in the early nineties when the internet still hadn't come to light properly and people didn't realise the power that was under their fingertips. He was met with scorn and ridicule!
Now, with the dawn of a new millenium behind us Mr. Gates isn't far off his mark and is making unequalled progress every day. I'm no Bill Gates by any stretch of the imagination but I have to say you can't but admire him. By the same token, my overall goal with regard to jewellery is that every Irish person in the world whether they are in New York, Vancouver, Hong Kong or Sydney will own a piece of Irish Jewellery and hence without opening their mouth will immediately stamp their identity on any circle of people they may find themselves in.
So, regardless of which site you purchase your jewellery from just remember why you are purchasing it. Thank You.
